This beautiful sterling silver wire wrap pendant encloses a turquoise and black colored Chrysocolla Cuprite cabochon from Mineral Mountain in Florence, Arizona. The silver wire is designed to hold and enhance the semi-precious stone with intricate swirls and loops designed to perfectly complement the stone.
A cabochon (or cabachon) is a gemstone which has been shaped and polished as opposed to faceted. The resulting form is usually a convex top with a flat bottom. The sterling silver wire is made of Argentium 930 Silver – a formulation that has high tarnish resistance.
The stone has maximum dimensions of 1 x 0.8 inches (2.5 x 2 cm).
